New pediped originals

Just a quick post to let you know that the NEW Fall pediped Originals are NOW in stock at TinySoles! There are some really cute new styles like the chocolate brown mary jane Ashley that is covered with sweet pink hearts, the pink and brown striped Ava, the distressed chocolate brown Ace and a new version of the Caroline in a chocolate nubuck with embroidered flowers. New Robeez - High Top Heaven!

Brand NEW Fall 09 styles of Robeez soft soles and Mini Shoez are NOW in stock at TinySoles! This new collection features all the classic styles you'd expect in fall colors PLUS a bunch of edgy new designs like the high tops shown above! With over 17 new soft sole styles (0-4 years) and 20 new Mini Shoez styles (US 2-5) there's something for everyone. Plus Robeez have a couple of NEW practical and adorable boots arriving soon, so watch out for those!

Staff Picks: I asked several of our shoe specialists to pick out their fave from the NEW Fall collection and hands down EVERYBODY picked the Hippie High Top (shown top left). For some it was nostalgic, others just thought it was too cute. Other adjectives used included fun, original, unique, colorful - you catch my drift. So after hearing the same response over and over and over, I made them choose their next fave!

"Hands down I was completely taken by the soft sole Knighted Fox in Brown. I know I am partial to boy's shoes having only a boy myself, but this is a really cool fresh take on a character style that Robeez has not done before. I think these would be especially cute on a new or adventurous walker. Watch out Dragons your little guy will save the day in these Knightly shoes."

Jackie - Urban High Top (Mini Shoez)
"I love the orange contrast to the brown shoe. Perfect for a future Larry Bird/Michael Jordan or even a future Sue Bird/Lauren Jackson (my husband is an Aussie). As a former tomboy I think this shoe would be cute as heck for either boy or girl."

Sammy - another vote for the Knighted Fox!

Sheri - Koala (soft sole)
Come on, do we really need to ask why? If you have ever talked to Sheri on the phone, then you get that this is an Aussie thing. BTW, she also likes the fluffy ears!

I agree with all of the above picks including the Hippie High Top! I also want to throw the Patchwork Heart soft sole moccasin style into the list. I think it would look too cute with a pair of jeans or tights and a skirt!

Testers Needed

Do you blog, have kids that play hard or just like free stuff? Then we’re looking for you. Did we get your attention? As fans of TinySoles, you know that the backbone of what makes TinySoles the BEST place to buy kids shoes is that we know our stuff. That’s right, we hand pick everything we sell and we kid test it, parent approve it. No corporate buyers looking for the latest fashions here, just parents looking for the best products for their kids’ period. We were the FIRST shoe store to specialize in baby, toddler and kids shoes and we pride ourselves on our knowledge of little feet. Our specialty and hands on experience approach allows us to stand behind EVERYTHING we sell and offer you the BEST customer service possible.

Ahem, with that said, we have found ourselves in a pickle. We have hundreds of brand NEW fabulous products arriving at TinySoles over the next couple of months (this should be our best season yet!) and only SO many little feet to test them out. And believe me we try hard, our kids could rival Imelda any day! So we are looking for some little feet to help us out. What’s that mean for you? Some FREE brand new, hot sizzling fall product!!! BabyLegs Cool + Giveaway

But we thought we would share a few uncommon experiences that we have been glad we had BabyLegs handy for. One little 18 month old TinySoles Tester broke his arm between his wrist and elbow and ended up with a megalithic cast that did not allow for any piece of clothing to fit over it. It was early fall in Washington and while the cast kept his right arm warm, his left arm needed help. In came BabyLegs. For the 3 weeks of cast time, he had a fun pair of BabyLegs adorning his left arm day and night. His arm is all better now but he still loves wearing his 'Legs and his mom was incredibly grateful she didn't have to cut the right arm off of any of his shirts, sweaters and jammies!

Another Little Tester recently got bitten by a mosquito on their left arm and scratched at it enough that it turned into a very angry and swollen cellulitis infection. Their mommy tried to monitor the scratching and use Band Aids, long sleeves etc to cover it to no avail. BabyLegs to the rescue. They were the perfect cover and allowed for the infected area to breathe and remain dry but no nails could get near it. BabyLegs Cool came in handy for this one too as there were a couple of really hot days where the lighter material made it much easier for them to keep their arm covered!

We have also been told that BabyLegs made the perfect leg covering for a baby in the NICU because they didn't get in the way of all the tubes. For really tiny babies regular BabyLegs may be quite big, but we have discovered the Natural Organic Cotton E shrink really well (down to preemie/newborn size) if you put them in a warm/hot wash. And at only $8 each, they're a steal. Actually if anyone knows anyone in the NICU right now that wants a pair that is already shrunk, let us know - we have one pair we would love to donate to someone!
